The Little Herb Hut have been making gorgeous wheat bags for the Baboo Box since we launched over a year ago. These hand made wheat bags can be heated up in the microwave to ease tired muscles or chilled in the freezer to soothe swollen feet and have been a real favourite with Baboo Box customers.
Lizzie, the founder of The Little Herb Hut tells us a bit more about how and why she started the business.
The Little Herb Hut is a small business based in the market town of Faversham, Kent. We are all about simplicity. We provide products that are exactly what they say they are, without the long list of un-recognisable ingredients. Our aim is to provide products that have wellness benefits for both the body and the mind. To ensure our products are of high quality, they are all handmade in small batches, including the labels and packaging.
A little bit about me…
I have always had an interest in holistic remedies and this interest grew when I was at university completing my health studies course. Since then, I have continued to learn and understand more about natural remedies through workshops, courses and my own research. I am also a keen maker of things! Having spent many years making handmade gifts for family and friends, I finally decided it was time to bring these two passions together and in 2017 The Little Herb Hut was created.
Our Environmental Footprint...
Here at the Little Herb Hut we do our best to look after our environment. All of our ingredients are sustainable and natural. Where possible our ingredients are sourced in the UK and are all biodegradable. We make a conscious effort to use eco-friendly packaging, using kraft paper and recycled jars.
